Department Profile of Geography:
The Department of Geography was established in 1992 – 1993 at F. Y.B.A. level and Geography Special level in 2013 -2014. Department is well equipped with spacious laboratory. Short term course “Surveying Techniques” are run by the department. Faculty is actively involved in research and publication. Department regularly arranged Socio Economic Survey of nearby villages and study tours at Geographical places. Faculty members are actively participated in workshops for syllabus restructure and gave suggestion regarding syllabus for every programs. Faculty is the members of subject professional bodies like Maharashtra BhogolshastraParishad, Indian Metrological Department, Indian Institute of Geomorphologist.
